About Us — The Story of H-PET

An idea born from the heart, a lifelong passion.

Welcome to H-PET! Behind this project are the two of us: a young couple aged 25 and 30.

Our story with animals did not begin yesterday. From an early age, we grew up surrounded by four-legged friends, learning to understand them, love them, and recognize that they are, in every respect, members of the family. This deep and genuine passion has always been with us and is the true driving force behind everything we do.

Our journey: from Italian-speaking Switzerland to Zug

We have been living in Switzerland for about three and a half years. We began our journey in the beautiful setting of the Canton of Ticino, before moving to and settling in Zug. It was here that our ideas finally took shape.

The idea of founding H-PET came about approximately seven months ago. We did not want it to remain just a dream in a drawer; we wanted to turn it into reality. With a great deal of hard work, sacrifice, effort, and determination, we succeeded in bringing this e-commerce store to life. We are two ambitious young people, incredibly eager to do things well and ready to put ourselves to the test every single day on this entrepreneurial journey.

Why isn’t H-PET just another pet e-commerce store?

We know very well that there are countless pet stores online, but H-PET was founded on a different philosophy:

We do not sell just any products. We select only what we would give to our own animals. Every food item, accessory, and toy is chosen with your pet’s health, comfort, and happiness as our top priorities.

Our primary goal is to give our customers the very best. We want everyone who shops with us to feel heard, advised, and supported by real people who share the exact same passion.

3. Just the Beginning of a Bigger Project

H-PET is starting out as an e-commerce store dedicated to your dogs and cats, but our vision extends much further. Our goal is to build, step by step, a solid business capable of caring for every type of animal—not only the most common ones, but also less “mainstream” species—eventually becoming a point of reference for anyone who loves the animal world, from private individuals to specialized facilities.

This store is the first, fundamental step in an ambitious journey. And we want you to be there with us from the very beginning.
